Flametoad

Here’s a conversation between Tadpole 1 (5.5 years old) and Tadpole 2 (2 years, 9 months). Tadpole 2 was mimicking her older brother, as little sisters do. “Stop copying me! You don’t have to do everything I do!” “Yes I do!” “… Then do you want to do my homework?”

So last week my kindergartner, tadpole 1, was learning about the different states of matter–solid, liquid, and gas. Yesterday I could hold my little tadpole in one hand. Today he starts Kindergarten.

Imagine my surprise when I picked him up from daycare. It was “clown day”. Click for a larger version.
