Mark: Hey are you guys going to fix your economy? 1 Canadian has never been worth 1.07 US before. Me: Well, it’s a secret, but I can tell you the plan involves roughly 3,000 raccoons and a time machine. Mark: That’s good, I worried there was no plan.

Monday’s post is coming half a day early this week. I spent the better part of Saturday working on a scale model trebuchet with my co-engineer Jason, but that report will have to wait. It has instead been preempted by a song sung by my 4 year old.

I just got the word that my last remaining grandmother passed away this morning. She would have been 95 next month. More on this later. Or maybe not. I don’t know.
