As you may remember, I have to children – Tadpole1 and Tadpole2. Tadpole1 is still struggling with his reading and hasn’t developed a love of books. The more I push the more he resists, so I’ve stopped pushing for the time being. Tadpole2, on the other hand, loves books. Maybe that’s partially because she just turned 4 and doesn’t have the pressure at school of actually having to learn how to read. With absolutely no prompting from Mrs. Flametoad and I, she memorized her favorite book about a girl who turns pink from eating too many pink cupcakes. I bring you, Pinkalicious.
