Yes, I’m hoping to see Watchmen this weekend. Hopefully the stars align and a babysitter falls from the heavens. If you see if first, please don’t spoil it for me. Sure I’ve read the graphic novel and know what happens, but that doesn’t mean I want to read about the movie second hand from you. Please let me experience the movie on my own. We’ll talk later.

- Hollywood admits that original ideas are a thing of the past.

- Lockheed is pimping a new combat exoskeleton (vid included). Combat exoskeletons are a sci-fi wet dream, but I have to wonder how relevant they are to the type of fighting we’re doing now. When small platoons are out on foot patrol, do they really want the extra noise?
- Twin Navy Crosses go to Marines who stood their ground. Lance Cpl. Jordan Haerter and Cpl. Jonathan T. Yale saved their brothers lives by giving their own. Take a moment to give silent thanks to real heroes.
- People have too much time on their hands, even if the results are entertaining.
- Flying robot cockroach. Really.
- It’s like Faces of Death meets Web 2.0 — Google car hits a deer and captures it in Google Maps.
