I just finished World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, and wanted to share my hearty recommendation. It’s written as a collection of interviews with survivors of a global zombie outbreak. The narrative is powerful, and you find yourself thinking “Yeah, if it was going to happen, this is how it would go down.” What makes this especially frightening is that you could easily substitute “deadly pandemic” for “zombies” and reach many of the same conclusions.
The writing is engaging and solid, even if the interviewees tend to monologue more than a real person would. Make a point of putting this book on your reading list.
If you had the time I could use a review of this book on Flames Rising.
Its one we don’t have any coverage of yet.
If not, no worries.
READ THE DRESDEN FILES.
Drop everything else.
I read this a while ago and it’s a great book.
