I don’t know if this is just a Southern saying or if it’s more universal, but when someone tries to fix a problem after an accident has already happened, we say they’re “Closing the barn doors after the horse is already out.”
David over at InDesign Secrets had his laptop stolen from his car and offers some advice to the rest of us on what he did right and what he wishes he’d done differently. The horse is already out of his barn, but it’s not too late for the rest of us to shut the doors.
