Seen on the ‘Net, part XIV

Did you know the Encyclopedia Britannica is available online for subscribers? More relevantly, they have a staff of bloggers who post two or three articles a day. Today’s first in a two-part article caught my eye. Exploiting the Nuclear Threat—Iraq, Iran, and a Plan for Peace (Part I), lays an interesting groundwork. I’m interested in seeing where the author takes it tomorrow.

Next, you might be interested in the result of “My Super Proposal”. What? You don’t know what I’m talking about? “My Super Proposal” was a website trying to raise money so that a guy could buy a Superbowl ad to propose to his girlfriend. You’ve probably realized that the ad didn’t run during the Superbowl, but the story has a happy ending. Read about it on Adrants.

Finally, I’ve always loved slight of hand tricks and wanted to learn how to do them myself. I have a few books on the subject, but somehow I’ve never made the time to sit down and learn. Maybe after I build my media empire. In the meantime, check out this video of a cool card trick.

The card trick was good. How’d he do that?
