Like many kids growing up, I couldn’t afford all the cool comic books I wanted to read. I’m not sure if I ever consciously decided to pick one publishing company over another, or if I just naturally gravitated toward Marvel because I found their books more accessible to new readers. Whatever the reason, for the most part I was a Marvel kid. Sure, there were exceptions from time to time–DC’s Blue Devil started off as a really cool hero (tickling my already-present interest in horror) until someone decided he should be a comedic character. Anyway, as a grown-up (more or less) Marvel guy this video found via Jawbone, definitely gave me a chuckle.
