The Britannica blog has a short, interesting post about relatively new changes to burial policies in Great Britain. Here in Texas, we’re surrounded by wide open spaces. That’s not so great when you have to drive to the store, but it has its advantages when you’re talking about cemeteries. It seems that places in Europe are starting to run low on burial spots and they are considering going back to old graves, deepening the original burial, and adding new coffins on top. Now I know we’ll be beyond caring about our Earthly remains by that point, but it seems a bit creepy. At the very least, as a horror writer and publisher it sets my spidey-sense a tinglin’.
