Having mostly put you to sleep this week with my posts about web design and trebuchets (I promise I’ll have construction photos of my own, soon) let’s end the week with some cool videos.
First, I am in complete awe of Andy McKee . I mean it. This guy is amazing. I’m definitely planning on picking up his album(s), although it won’t be quite the same as seeing his amazing performances. In addition to this one, be sure to go to YouTube and check out some of his other amazing performances.
Going from music to recording devices, I know at one point or another you’ve all wished you had a laser microphone, right? Oh, come on! Admit it. You’ve watched some spy movie and found yourself wishing you owned one of those cool devices. Well thanks to the power of the internet and people who too much time on their hands, we can all learn how to make our own laser listening device using a cheap laser pointer, a recording device, and a $0.30 part from Radio Shack.

Finally, this last video has nothing to do with music, recording, or anything of that nature. It’s about burning something to produce a light source in the event of a roadside emergency. I’d be willing to bet you’ll never guess what.
