Things have been kinda busy around here, what with working on the revised (and improved!) print edition of Bloodlines and all, but I just wanted to take a few moments to note the passing of some unique individuals.

Rest in peace, Andreas Katsulas. While we all got to see your real face when you played the one-armed man in the movie version of The Fugative (among other roles), I’ll always remember you for the role of G’Kar in Babylon 5. You and Peter Jurasik (Londo) were the heart of the show. You elevated it from a really good scifi show to something truly marvelous. I hope you and Richard Biggs (Dr. Franklin) are at peace.

Goodbye, Darren McGavin. I was too young to watch the original Nightstalker, and although your filmography is 174 entries long, to me you’ll always be the dad from Christmas Story. You created a holiday classic, and your work will be enjoyed for decades to come.

Farewell Don Knotts. You touched millions of lives with laughter. God gave you a gift, and you used it well. I can’t help but believe that God is pleased.

Why do they always die in threes? They will be missed.

There could be a mod in the series of three. Hmmm…
