Apparently, Target makes three times as much from its Target credit card than it does from actually selling stuff. What doest that say about our culture’s spending habits? What does this mean for the future?

Some of the comments below the editorial are interesting, but it devolves into a discussion over how best to save people from themselves. Personally, I don’t believe in saving people from themselves, but I do believe in stopping unethical, predatory business practices. Sometimes the line is fine.
