Games, Seen on the 'Net

But first, the Videos

12.04.06 | 1 Comment

I have a lot of things to talk about today, but I’ll try to break them up over several posts. First, I have a few vids to share with you, courtesy of Jawbone Radio. SHARK!

and Calvin and Hobbes get the Adult Swim treatment.

In other news, the old Dungeons & Dragons 80s cartoon is available for sale. The set even includes a book that stats out the main characters in D&D 3.5 terms. I was just at the right impressionable age when the cartoons first came out that they seemed really cool. Watching it now just tends to be painful, and not in a “so bad it’s good” way. (Rollick has a hilarious commentary about that.) However, I still hold fond memories of one particular episode in which the group helps a Death Knight cast off his curse. The knight’s name was Dekiyon, and it’s the name I gave my very first D&D character when I began playing almost a decade later. I don’t want to ruin my geek glee by actually seeing that episode again. Sorry. No sale.
